Fuck you got me I've never even heard the bauhaus version I love the original so much though and I rarely like remakes more than the original...specially if I heard the original first.

yeah i know what you mean but i really like bauhaus and they do a really good version of it. i had to listen to it a couple of times to realise that it was a remake...
if you havent heard of them check them out on allmusic.com they, along with the cure, were pioneers in the glam/goth insergence of the late 70s early 80s...

He may be a poof, he may be maudlin in his dotage, but Elton John was the real deal, whereas Kristy Brinkley was just a sheath for Billy Joel's favorite instrument.
Let's get odd: Kip Addotta - Wet Dream or Tom "T-Bone" Stankus - Existential Blues

Justin Hayward. He's got low end harmonics in his voice that give him a depth that Jeff Lyne can't match.
Moody Blues - The Story in your Eyes or The Grateful Dead - Eyes of the World?

Hmm tuff because certain guitarists do either really well. I guess I'll go with clean tones
On the same subject... Less is more guitarists: David Gilmour, Prince, BB King, etc... who don't show off as much and just hold their notes or Shredders who like to show off a lil and jump all over the thing: Vai, Satriani, Buckethead, Vernon Reid, etc. ??? Asta!!
