New Ministry album
I just got the new Ministry album "Houses of the Mole'" and I was wondering if anyone else here is a Ministry fan and if anyone has heard it. I think the album is fucking great. There is some seriously brutal stuff on there that reminds me a lot of "Psalm 69" and the rest is more melodic like their latest releases. One song in particular that kicks my ass is "WTV." It goes along the same as TVII on 69 where there are TV clips played over insane riffs. The lyrics on that song are evil.
Any old Ministry fans should download or buy this album right now! |

My favorite albums were Land of Rape and Honey and A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste. I've been let down a bit more each time since then. I haven't bought any of there stuff since Psalm 69/ Filth Pig

Just got the album yesterday. It rocks.
I've been calling it the sequal to Psalm 69. Indeed, a couple new songs (No W, WTV) are obvious spin-offs of Psalm 69 tracks. Normally I would file this as rehashing old ideas, but I think they've actually made it sound fresh, continuing what that started with Psalm. If you've ever liked Ministry, run, do not walk, and buy this album.

Yeah the new album is good stuff. Used to be a huge fan but not so much anymore. I still *buy* all their new albums though.
"No W" is my favorite track by far. --jaded
