The "Reccomend an Album" Linkage Thread (read rules on first post)
Ok, here's how this is going to work:
- I'll mention an album I really like. - The next poster should then reccomend me an album I might like based on the album I posted. - That poster then posts an album he/she likes (and it doesn't have to relate to the previous albums in any way). - For example: I could say I like "Some Devil" by Dave Matthews, and the next person says "Eat at Godot's" by Ralph Covert. That person then says they like "The Marshall Mathers LP" and the next poster will make a reccomendation based on that, and so forth. Hopefully this will introduce people to new music! So I'll start. I like "Revival" by Reverend Horton Heat.

The band: The Amazing Crowns (aka- The Amazing Royal Crowns) Best Album: Self-Titled Debut under the latter name. Not Psychobilly, but some great stand-up bass action and great lyrics about hot rods and chicks. Most Rockabilly mixes I create for the road, include the Rev. and the Crowns. http://entertainment.msn.com/artist/?artist=122158 EDIT: Whoops! Forgot to list a band. Yeah, I've got the Minus 5 album and enjoy it. Been meaning to check Gomez out, but still haven't heard any. Might need to hit their website to see how I like them.

I'll try to think of another for ya then if you've already got the minus 5 one. Be forwarned that Gomez is quite different than UT and the like. Still good, just different.

I think our linkage is breaking down. I didn't intend for more than one reccomendation to be on the table at once. So which album is on the table currently?

Wow, have no idea what band that is or what kind of music that is.
So I'll just recommend my own stuff: 13th Step - A Perfect Circle I don't think you have to be a fan of Maynard or Tool to enjoy this one. Just a fan of good rock music. It's a great album on so many levels. And just for something different the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new album. I just love her vocals. I could use some recommendations myself.
