Great song.

I'm usually not a big fan or rap or any form of hip-hop, but you have to appreciate what happens when a girl at a club hears "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot. If you like ass (like me) then you like this song.

As far as recent music goes, "Downfall" by TRUSTcompany was pretty good.

After noticing Der Kommisar, I feel compelled to inform you all that a cover of it was recorded by Option 30 (where Reznor was before NIN.) Haven't found it outside of file-sharing networks, but it's worth listening to.

Now comes the point where everyone ceases to take me seriously. I actually liked the Macarena.

All respect that I once had for MrSelfDestruct has gone by the wayside! :D

I believe that that was Corey Hart, and it was most excellent.

Personally, I like Take On Me by A-Ha. Now that's a magnificent song.

Some good tracks already mentioned, but are not 'one hit-wonders' to me because I've listened to other stuff by the artists...Gary Numan, for example. ..or are simply things that don't wow me.

Well, I was just going to say that, ultra_agent9. My definition of a one-hit wonder is a band who had only one huge hit and that's it. Nothing else even came close.

Violent Femmes do not fall into that category, and neither do The Sweet.

True. 'Boys In Town' by Divinyls was a HUGE hit. And the 'ol Spandau boys had more than a couple of dosh generating tunes.

The GoGos and Men at Work also had multiple hits.

Dramarama -- "Anything, Anything" -----> instant memories of the 80's with this one. Great song, too.
