Gretchen Wilson
One of Nashvilles newest upcoming stars is Gretchen Wilson.
One of the hottest songs her cd is called Redneck Woman. It goes back to more traditional country music, talking about personal experiences and life growing up. This type of music hasn't been done in awhile. Kind of a throw back to Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton. Have any of ya'll heard her yet? If you have, what do you think? If not and you like country or just want to hear her, head on over to http://www.gretchenwilson.com/ and check her out. |

I like that song, but I think that is the last way I would describe it. More like Garth Brooks meets Kid Rock. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just a better description of how it sounds.
