What would you choose?
A friend of mine inspired this thread.
If somehow you were given the opportunity to learn to play one song, and ONLY one song, on the guitar, what would it be? You would know it instantaneously, and would be able to play it even better than the original artist. However, it would be the only song you would ever know. I realize most of you probably wouldn't take that deal, but I'm saying, given that you agreed, which song would you choose?

A large number of Iron Maiden songs or Joe Satriani songs.
Both of them artists/groups are simply breathtaking when it comes to a hardcore solo on a guitar. If i had to truely pick any one song out of these two, sadly I'd leave my Iron Maiden and pick "Surfing With the Alien" of Satriani or possibly "Summer Song". Hell.. thats not fair.. maidens "Aces High", "Dont Look to the eyes of a stranger" solo at the 5 min 20 sec mark (sry I love this song ), or even "The Educated Fool" around the 3:30 mark, or.... Theres always the allmighty "Thunderstruck" by the one and only ACDC. Best damn blood flowing song ever made for mankind.

Desperado and Master of Puppets I would definitely have to agree with.
And that Flight of the Bumblebee idea was imaginitive. Nice thinking man.

I'd love to give Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue a shot, just to see if it could be done...
Otherwise Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd

"Existential Blues" by Tom "T Bone" Stankus. I think it is a very funny song, for just voice and acoustic guitar, and it would be a great song to be able to play at a party. It may not be technically difficult as a song, but hey, if I only get one song, I want it to be funny and have crowd impact.

Ace of Base - The Sign
...I'm so kidding. I'd learn the ever-beautiful tune of Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge.
