Covenant (synth) or Covenant (metal)?

I love Covenant (synth). They're Swedes too, which makes it even better.

I have all of their stuff. And when I say ALL, I mean it.

I also went to see them when they were in LA earlier this year (or was it last year?) - brilliant show.

It's all about Dead Stars

The best album to buy is United States of Mind. From there, Northern Light is slightly different. If you like harsher stuff, then try Europa.

Must disagree.
Buy in this order:
Sequencer - Lots of fat, analog synth sounds, killer hooks, smooth clean vocals. The album Front 242 wishes they'd done.

United States of Mind - "Dead Stars", "Like Tears In Rain," and, um... I can't remember the name of the other track I really liked, but there's some good stuff on here.

Europa - Sparser than most of their other stuff, and it's mixed so that it sounds killer in a nightclub but not so hot at home or in the car.

Dreams Of A Cryotank - Pretty typical early/mid '90's industrial. But it's got "Theremin," and that songs rocks my proverbial socks off.

Northern Lights - They sound bored on this one. No spark.

like? no, i don't "like" covenant. i LOVE Covenant!!!!

i've seen them every time they have come near my area. i gots all their CD's. i chatted with Eskil for a bit before a show once, but he didn't want me to take his picture. :-( sad.

Europa tends to be my favourite Covenant CD. followed by Sequencer and United States of Mind.
