follower of the child's crusade?

Who is the hardest man in all of music?

I am going for Freddie Foxxx, he is a beast, in a straight up fair fight I think he would destroy any musician currently working (I just hope N.O.R.E. doesnt carry out his threat to shoot him the next time he see's him ...)

Honourable mentions gotta go to:

Joseph "Fat Joe" Cartegena
Billy Danzini
RBX
The lead singer of Pantera (Phil Alsemo?)
Raymond Benzino
Vinnie Paz
Jadakiss
Beanie Seigel
Dave Mustaine

And Suge Knight, or any other criminals who work for record companies dont count... Im talking about people who actually make music!

Cross jello biafra's attitude and Henry Rollins and you would have had one angry man with muscles to match.

In reality I'll go with Danzig

Who cares about macho posing - leave that shit for the movies (where Harvey Keitel ownz). In music, what counts is what goes on when the instrument is being played.

Shout out for the Jazz contingent....

Arturo Sandoval - as a trumpet player I know what kind of physical control it takes to reach the upper register. When I listen to his latin jazz, my jaw drops as he casually improvises his way into the stratosphere.

after this, I have doubts about Phil Anselmo...:

That being said, I agree with Henry Rollins. I'd like to add Jamey Jasta.

I will agree with the Danzig and Rollins nominations. I actually saw Glenn clock a guy at a show in Hollywood once! I wonder if he was an angry child...

Henry Rollins is a little cry baby. Listen to "I know you". The birds are his true friends. Just because his neck is bigger than my waist doesn't mean anything. Just kidding by the way. Don't get mad at me.

The Man In Black

All of the men listed previously would bow in the presence of Johnny Cash. Doesn't even matter that he's dead now.

A harder man you will not find in music.

I agree with everyone that said Johnny Cash. Still, I gotta admit I never wouldve fucked with Frank Sinatra back in his day because my whole family wouldve probably gotten whacked.

Well, OK no one can sit here and deny that 50 Cent is hardcore. The man was SHOT NINE TIMES, and lived to tell the tale, and even brag about it.

BUT

No one touches The Man in Black, I cannot argue with that. He would make Fifty his little bitch. He would teach him respect. He would put mayonnaise on him and eat him like a sandwich.

Danzig is a good bet.

Also, I saw Type O Negative in concert, and despite the imposing dark-leather sausage-fest, the singer looked like he could have taken the crown on and lived to tell the tale. But the whole posing in playgirl thing disturbs me.

Danzig yo.

My buddy was at a Danzig concert & saw some dude tell Glen that he loved his stuff with the Misfits & Glen straight up clocked him. Didn't say a word either.
