I'm wondering what they mean or where they're from. I see them on most of their album covers.

That writing in the back ground. What is it, what does it mean

The font is called "Runes" and was created by Billy Howerdell. I believe you can find some information on it here: http://www.aperfectcircle.org/faqu.htm

i decoded it once a while ago, i can only remember that the stuff on the front that you posted say, cascade des prenoms, or something pretty close to that
