Baseball music
While at a baseball game today, who ever was controlling the music was playing the most inappropriate songs: "Ice Ice Baby", "I Love Rock and Roll", and a bunch of country music too. My friends and I tried to think of some more appropriate baseball music, but came up empty handed. All we thought up was "Take me out to the ballgame" and that organ piece they always play.
So, my question is: what kind of music or what songs are fitting to play at a baseball game? |

"Glory Days"
And of course the Baltimore tradition for after TMOTTBG..."Thank God I'm A Country Boy" Don't get too bothered by that music; it gets played everywhere.

I guess songs with a baseball reference are usually a good bet, though I don't really see anything wrong with the tunes being played at the game you went to. It does depend on the crowd and what part of the country your in, but anything you thing is gonna keep the crowd "enthused" is good. And I assume these were played between innings and ab's?
Anyway, another good song with a baseball reference (which I played when I was working in minor league baseball) was Cheap Seats by Alabama. I also think some of the more popular disco tunes are a good choice. |

This is why Wrigley Field is the best....no piped in music at all. Just organ. Sometimes the organ plays a modern song, but it usually takes you till the end of it to even realize
