Your theme song?
What would your theme song be??
Like the song playing in the background of a movie about you? Silent_Jay and I were talking about this yesterday and he said "it's raining men" by ginger spice!!!!!! Just kidding Jay! I would like to say something big and grandiose like Kashmir but I would have to say Strange Days by the Doors. ![]()

David Bowie's "The Hearts Filthy Lesson". This song was the very song that first got my ear that one autumn afternoon in 1995 when they played the video on TV. It was the first time I heard a Bowie song AND knew who the performer was. After hearing it, I went and got the 1.Outside cd from the library and listened to it religiously. This song is still my all time favourite, even though "Thursday's Child" comes close. Hearts Filthy just has all the fuckin balls I want in a song, with a touch of moodiness, insanity, weird noises and Bowie's sexy-as-fuck vocal delivery. It means a lot to me.

Ramble On - Led Zeppelin explains a lot
Sultans of Swing used to be "my song" especially the line "And Harry doesn't mind if he doesn't make the grade, he's got a day time job, he's doing alright." That was me when I took music more serious. Now that song still has a place in my heart, but less meaning. I also am moved when I hear any movement of Dvorak's 'New World Symphony'

Why? I think the reason is obvious. jk. We used to crank this song up, roll down the windows and drive through the ghetto part of my home town singing along at the top of our lungs.

Right now, it's BÖC - (Don't fear) The Reaper.
Other times it's Rush - Roll the Bones or Rush - Middletown Dreams or Rush - Vital Signs or 801's excellent cover of the Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows.
