I was wondering what everyone's fav. Pink Floyd song is? Mine is and always will be "Hey You," I dunno why, but its been my fav. ever since the first time I heard it.

I know that they've got so many albums and its hard to pick just one song, but give it a try...My personal fav. album of thiers' is The Wall.

out of the two or three that I know (without hearing them and being told they are Pink Floyd) have to go with the one that has the "We don't need no education line" line. Whatever that is called, just know it is from the Wall album/soundtrack (whatever applies there).

My favorite song, at the moment, is probably "Careful with that axe Eugene" but i'm really not sure if i could ever pick a favorite album.

Too many to choose from. They are my favorite band of all time, so can't choose.

Same here. I've got Obscured By Clouds in my car right now, so I guess that's my favorite album of the week. Free Four is my fav song on that album.

Meddle- Fearless
DSoTM- Us & Them
Wish You Were Here- SoYCD
Animals- Dogs
The Wall- Mother and Is there Anybody out there? kick ass.

They have an incredible amount of songs I like, but if I had to pick one song to listen to right now, it would be... Young Lust.

On the live The Wall album they put out not too long ago there is a song on there that is not on the original album. I forgot what it is called, but it is right before Young Lust, instead of Empty Spaces being immediately before Young Lust as it was originally. It is an awesome song. It's in the movie, too.

My dad used to play The Wall on vinyl when I was very young, my parents say I used to spin around like a helicopter when that sound was playing.

I think it would have to be Wish You Were Here.

Echoes. That song is everything Floyd in their creative prime (post Syd, pre Dark Side) was, rolled into one nearly half-hour song.

That is an amazing song. BTW, the version from the new Live In Pompeii DVD is great. It's truncated a bit, but actually seeing them perform it when this was recorded is fantastic! I highly recommend that DVD to anyone that is a PF fan.

My favourite PF songs, in no particular order:
Echoes (the Meddle version).
Shine on you Crazy Diamond (especially the last parts).
Comfortably Numb (the PULSE version, the way Gilmour intented it to sound before Waters cut it to fit in The Wall).
Time

As for albums, DSOTM, Meddle, The Wall and believe it or not Momentary Lapse of Reason. Oh and I love their two live albums Delicate Sound of Thunder and PULSE.
