For a compilation, the "Not Another Teen Movie" soundtrack, which is full of hard alternative covers of 80s songs.

For a movie score, Danny Elfman's "Beetlejuice" rocks. Oh, gotta go add that one to the Halloween thread.

My favorite is the Desparado soundtrack. It's such a sexy album, but that might be because I had some really great sex to it one night.

Grosse Point Blank.

Both disks combined make the best soundtrack ever.

Strange Days.

I know many people did not like this film, but (excepting the song they let Juliette Lewis sing) the soundtrack is phenomenal.

The soundtrack to High Society. The first time that Frank and Bing sang together on film and it has Bing and Grace Kelly singing the #1 pop hit 'True Love'. And of course Louis Armstrong is on there as well.

I also love the soundtrack to the 1954 film The Glenn Miller Story

FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONED THE "SINGLES " SOUNDTRACK, I WAS GETTING WORRIED FOR A MINUTE.

IF YOU'RE INTO RAP/R&B, "JUICE" IS MY FAVORITE, ALMOST EVERY TRACK IS SLAMMIN'. BOYZ N' THE HOOD WAS CONSTANTLY IN THE CD PLAYER BACK IN '91 AS WELL, AND I STILL POP IT IN OFTEN...

Musical soundtracks are fun, too...Chicago, RENT, RHPS, and yes, even Grease are all on my CD rack

I didn't think Tarantino could top the Pulp Fiction soundtrack until I got the soundtracks to the two Kill Bill movies. Un-fucking-believable. I would pay a lot of money just to spend a few hours looking through that man's record collections.
