Beatles - Happy Michaelmas
Hey folks.
Anyone out there familiar with the Beatles album Happy Michaelmas? I got it on vinyl as a kid and still have it. Pretty trippy Christmas message stuff. Very Revolution #9. Is it rare or have people heard of it? Any input would be great... |
I've never heard of the album. It sounds awesome though.

Well obviously a bootleg of the official Christmas album that came out in 1970 for members only of The Beatles' fan club. Each year from 1963 until 1969, The Beatles put together a 5 minute or so Christmas greeting to their fans. These went from being funny to rather bizarre. The album in '70 was a compilation of all of them.

eris: I'm not going too far out on a limb in suggesting that it most likely is rare. What with most of us never having heard of it and all. |
