Anti-bacterial creme / soap?
Hey all. Gettin kinda tired of Dial, so I was wonderin if anyone had any suggestions for another anti-bacterial soap or creme I can use in the shower. I prefer Anti-bacterial soap over Lever 2000 and stuff.
Thanks! |
you might want to think about using regular soap. The more anti-bacterial products people use, the more resistant bacteria get to it. There's really no reason to try and kill all the bacteria during your shower unless you work with toxic waste or in a meat packing plant ;)

Really? Wow, never thought about that.
Well, I was also told that anti-bacterial stuff keeps your penis clean and free of any smell, so that's another reason I use it. Maybe everyone is lying to me.... :| |
well, they're not lying, just not telling the whole story. No matter what body part you wash, if you do it with soap it will be clean and free of smell. Antibacterial provides no benefit except when you actually have to worry about KILLING the bacteria. You're washing most of it off and down the drain anyway, it doesn't really need to die (it's gonna die when it gets to the wastewater treatment plant anyway).
You only have to worry about killing it in situations like commercial food prep, surgery, etc. |
Thanks shakran, you've been most helpful in updating me on soap issues

I personally love the smell of the Axe soap on my b/f. It makes me melt. Might try that hehe.

My suggestion, it is not as crazy as it sounds, dishwashing soap. That worked wonderfully for getting rid of the damned acne and keeping my skin clean.
'Cept I don't know how you feel about lemony scents. |
Go to whole foods and check out some of their good stuff. It may be a little pricy but it will last a lot longer. The glycerine stuff is neat. Also - and the spelling may be off - but the Rogers & Gallot soaps are awesome!! Carnation is great for males, and don't let the flower name fool you, it is good stuff and an event to just open the package. Plus, your room will smell great as well.
