I went to Trent University this year for Environmental & Resource Science. Turns out I don't like E&RS as much as I thought I did. I ended up in pretty much the same situation as you, but I dropped out. I couldn't take another semester of university, never mind another 4 years. Now that I'm out I am a lot more happy, I lost a ton of money but at least I'm not tied into doing something that I'm not totally into. I don't plan on going back to school for another 2 years now, and when I do I'll be going to college. I'm taking this time off to figure out who I really am and what I want to do.
The total I lost was around 8 grand tuition + res, but I'll be getting more back as soon as my doctor gets around to writing my letter for a medical withdrawl. If something is making you unhappy or you don't want to do it, then why do it? Last edited by ixion; 12-22-2004 at 01:15 AM.. |

Few students take advantage of all the counseling and mentoring services that your school probably they offers. They might be able to help you with everything from time management to how to effectively write papers.
