What area is everyone from?

I live in Henderson which is near las vegas. But I'm moving to L.A. here in a couple weeks to live with some friends.

And, for the most part, I can't wait. I'm getting sick of living out here.

Where is everyone else at? Do you like where you live? Why?

Newcastle, Australia

Love it here :D The whole city has pretty much just been revamped, new buildings and new landscapes.

I'm from the Portland area of Oregon. I love it; trees, mountains, beaches, hunting, and all of it within a couple hours from home.

I was born in L.A, then moved to St. George, Utah when I was twelve, and about a month ago I moved from there to Salt Lake City to go to school. Anyone else from SL? I would love to make a few friends out here. My BF and I (chewybaca96, in case you guys know him) moved up and we know maybe a handful of ppl.

grew up for 18 years in the Portland/Salem area, lived in Florida in the navy, then back to OR for school and currently in ID.

Grew up in the mountains of Colorado (absolutely loved it). Now live in Colorado Springs, CO. Still pretty nice, although I'm nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains still miss being right smack dab in the middle of them.

Currently dreaming of a change of scenery, thinking about anything along the west coast from northern california to vancouver (Washington being the preferred state to go). Going to knock out a few years of my core college classes, and see about getting out-of-state scholarships.

I guess it's uncommon these days, but I've "lived" in Connecticut all my life...

Sydney, Australia. One of the most beautiful citys in the world.
Been around the world, lived in a lot of citys, but never felt happier that the time I have spent here.

Sadatx,

I was born/raised/and I live in Los Angeles. The cool thing is that there is always something to do. You have beaches, mountains, clubs, bars, museums, theaters, sports arenas...everything. Beautiful weather too.

Of course it's not perfect. Unless you're relatively close to the coast, the air is so polluted you can slice it. Traffic jams are no joke...our nice freeways with the 65mph speed limits often get choked at 10mph during rush hour. Strangers on the street are not friendly like in many places...in fact they will often be adversarial, if anything. :)

If you are looking for excitement, you will not be disappointed. I've been here for almost 25 years and am ready for some calm, lol.

I'm from Montreal, Canada. I love this place. During the summer, there are tons of festivals, sport events, and great places to visit. And during the winter, we can go ski, ice skate, etc.
Our public transportation system is excellent, so traffic isn't that big of a problem. Usually, the people are very friendly and polite, we also are a very multicultural city.. Very nice place to live

Was born in Alexandria Virginia. Lived in Manassas Virginia for my first four years. Moved to Saudi Arabia for the next four years. Moved back to Manassas Virginia for a couple of months. Moved to Herndon Virginia for 17 years. And now live in Ashburn Virginia for the past year. All of these are in Northern Virginia. And I LOVE IT. Everything I want is here. We have all four seasons. The beach is a couple of hours away. The mountains are about 30 mintues away. The city is about 30 minutes away....and thats about all I need. Only thing is that everything is expensive here and everyone is so busy that lots of people are rude. But fuck em. HAHAHA i said buttfuck 'em.

i reside in Sacramento, Cali.....moved here from San Jose about a year ago. We just set a record for most number of days above 100 degrees for July.....18 days!!! There is plenty of stuff to do here and business is starting to pick up, so, besides my recently shattered collar bone, all is good here.

Was born in San Diego and have lived in various areas of the country and in Europe for a few years. Nothing to do with the military -- just a nomad in the semiconductor industry. Latest home was in Phoenix, AZ before moving to the Willamette Valley in Oregon 1.5 years ago. Couldn't be happier! Everything about the climate, surroundings and lifestyle suits me fine.
