Ok Im not real sure this is the right forum for this but Ive heard the punchline of "Rectum? damn near killed him" hundreds of times but never heard the setup. Is there a setup or am I just a fool?

Little Johnny was talking about his brother being wounded in the war....

"He got shot right in the ass!"

"Rectum," the teacher corrected.

"Wrecked him? Hell, it damn near killed him!"

focus? bofus.....
camerman tells the twins to sit still, one says why? the other replies so he can focus, the other says Bofus?
