Just wondering if anyone knew any info on the sequel for Mafia

I loved Mafia, I actually thought it was better then any of the GTA games
I love the old school fashion and story line to it

and I just wanted to know if anyone has any info on when or if the sequel will come out.

The first game was really fun, and i enjoyed how you could shot out the tires, but i had heard nothing about a sequel, i am sure it will take a couple years to come out. The first one took forever

Mafia is easily in my top 5 favorite games of all time, and Mafia 2 would more than likely kick ass if and when it's released (I have no info on it myself). What made Mafia so great was the badass storyline and character progression. The only gripe I had with it is that it involved way more driving then it should have...I hated driving across the entire city for one simple mission...too much back and forth. Aside from that, it is a masterpiece in PC gaming. I heard the console port was shit, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was with the limitations and control.

I didn't like the driving around at first, but then I got addicted to it.

especially towards the end with all the police chases.
I would love running around switching cars, and then doing constantly
it was the main reason why I played freeride so much that I had the whole entire city memorized and knew where to go for the exact situation.

That game is probably stuck in my Top 3 Favorite games.

I personally loved the first part, I was always into the old fashion like in the 1700`s and the sotry line of the game was awesome, other plusses of the game were the graphics and stuff you could do in the game. I would love to see a part 2 to this game and hopefully it would be as good as part 1 or maybe even better.

I liked the first game when I played it, really fun game.

I had no clue about Mafia 2 but this staory says it may be cancelled, the story is a little dated it's from August 2004
