So true, no matter how good the new RTS graphics are and the game play etc...I can always go back to Starcraft and enjoy it like it is brand new...

Steel Panthers. Yes it is the World at War version, but it has its roots back in about 1995 or so. Plus it is free. Now that can't be beat.

Quest for Glory is awesome, the whole series, and I'm down with one of those every now and again.

But for me, it's usually breaking out the old Street Fighter II action. That, and (if I'm in a really old school mood) Impossible Mission for C64.

I remember being blown away by the first(?) text-based "RPG" called, "Adventure." I now have it on my PDA - it's still a lot of fun.

Marathon on my Mac is still fun.

Then there's Tetris.

Caesar III.It totally kills your life for months at a time. Then, when you look back upon it you think "What a boring game", safe in the knowledge that you'll never make the mistake of installing it again. Problem is, you will and you will love it.

Far better than Pharoah, too.

Sometimes CS v1.5 on LAN. But not very often now.

Usually I've been sticking to playing emulators like MAME, NES, etc. For PC games i've stuck to the following, original counterstrike, Command and Conquer, Diablo II and the only reason for that is one of my friends computer can't really handle any more than those.

i play vampire the mascarade bloodlines, half life 2, and counter strike source...

um they all came out with in the last few weeks...

Hmmmm.....I still play Age of Empires, Starcraft. Some games are just made too well and become classic.

I just started Beyond Good & Evil on the Cube. Killer game, great graphics, great story, great gameplay and great controls. I highly reccomend it to anyone.

Warlords. I remember when I used to play that on the mac at school.

Doom, Wolf 3d, Dark Forces, TIE Fighter, Twisted Metal (PSX)

Panzer Elite. It's modded to the moon, but when it doesn't crash it's fun in it's own way. If not this game, Aces of the Deep (1994), at least until Silent Hunter 3 comes out.

Just finished Final Fantasy 1 and 2 on an emulator. Ah the good old days of NES RPG's.

Man, I had so much hope for that game. For some reason it didn't grab me like I had thought it might. I ended up giving it away.

I have "Interstate '76" installed on my laptop and I play it every once in a while. The game just has so much attitude that it's fun to play.

Not really old but this game is a classic...

Fallout. So addictive in its endless possibilities.
