Need a new game to play (gamecube)

So I finally finished off Metroid Prime on the GC... and I need a game to fill the void until the sequel gets released.

I was thinking about picking up Eternal Darkness, Beyond Good and Evil or Metal Gear: the twin snakes....

or maybe I'll save my dough for Prime 2 and play Fable on my brothers XBox....

I suggest checking out Tales of Symphonia. Great rpg with a really fun battle system.

I second that! ToS is definately a great RPG. You could also check out Pikmin 2, that game is fun as hell too.

Star Craft Ghost would be a good fix for you and it just came out.

Viewtiful Joe is under $20 now. I'd highly recomend it.

Eternal Darkness is completely stellar. Legend of Zelda:WindWaker was great. MGS:Twin Snakes is good if you never played the original. Also, X-Men:Legends just came out.

Go for Eternal Darkness. It is one of the best games ever made. Plus you can probaly find a used copy pretty cheap

I gotta recommend Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem just like everyone else. Metroid Prime is easily the best game on GC if ya ask me, so you've definitely made some good choices already. Skies of Arcadia is an amazing RPG, easily reaching Final Fantasy production qualities.

haha... if you aren't too cool for cartoony games, just like your favorite neigborhood platypus, then you should consider paper mario 2 coming out in 4 days. the pikmin games are a very worthy distraction.

for adult games: there may be an RE you haven't played, ED can be found extremely cheap.

man, the RPG possibilities are good: I'd go Tales of Symphonia, BG&E, then Skies of Arcadia... in that order.

haha, sorry... i probably named too many. if i were you, i'd get paper mario first if $ are no object, then pick up the others if you find a bargain.

Viewtiful Joe
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Resident Evil (REmake)

Are probably my favourite Cube games, no particular order except with Metroid as number 1 (but that's number 1 all round regardless of platform).

I personally like

Mario Kart: Double Dash
Time Splitters 2
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
SSX 3

and I just started playing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, which is pretty good so far, but you have to have GBAs to play multi, which really sucks ass.

I picked up Eternal Darkness at EBgames... they didnt have pre played, so I went ahead and got a new copy for $39.99 canadian. I traded in Metroid Prime, cause I know I probably won't play it anymore - got a whopping $12 for it.

Eternal Darkness seems cool so far. The melee combat seems a little basic and awkward, but its a pretty good game otherwise.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Nobody else would even think of this game, but I really love Gladius. It's multiplatform, but still looks pretty good on gamecube, and the play is fun.

Yeah, like I said, I wanted a game for the weekend, didn't want to wait til Monday.

I went ahead and got Eternal Darkness, and it rocks... I never played a game quite like it before.

I'll probably pick up Paper Mario after I'm done with Metroid Prime 2. It looks awesome.

Eternal Darkness is excellent, especially if you like twisted games. It really messes with your mind. I also recommend all the Zelda games, and Viewtiful Joe. That game just blows me away everytime by the look.
