G4/tech tv: Portal
 

Anyone ever watch this show? I heard about it from a friend and he said it was pretty cool. I heard it got cancelled and the next rerun isn't on until this sunday. Either way I was wanting the opinions of some of the people who have seen the show.

In case the show ends up being horrible for the record my good friend that saw the show said that it was "interesting". I usually take that to mean good and in this case I may be wrong.;)

Personaly, I want to claw my eyes out every time I see that it will be on. Note that I don't even have to see the show, just that it will indeed be playing. Think red vs blue + MSTK +MMORPGS +Farscape -Halo -Funny -Cleverness -all other redeeming factors.

Ditto. Easily one of the worst shows on G4TechTV.

In fact, I absolutely despise that channel ever since G4 merged with TechTV. G4 has the worst fucking shows, ever. Tommy Tallarico is the world's biggest idiot.

Most of G4TTV is crap now.

I saw an episode of Icons where they highlighted Doom3 which was pretty awesome. Laura Foy is the best thing on the g4 brought to the table and they need to put a ball gag in her mouth because she's annoying as shit. I hate that channel now.

I really hate that arena show. Most of the shows on G4 tech tv sucks now and they just keep showing reruns. Only X-play, icon, and pulse is good.

It's fucking terrible. I think G4Tech is going to need a lot of changes if they want any sort of success in the future.

At the moment, the only shows I can bear to watch are G4tv.com, X-Play, and Pulse. And that's really only because it's more about gaming news/reviews than any thing else, and that the tv personalities involved aren't too annoying.

I can't stand Tommy Tallarico (although he's done a lot of good work in the industry), Laura or Adam Sessler. Tina Wood is cute, Scot is tolerable and Morgan is alright. Everyone else isn't even worth mentioning.

Anyway, to get back on topic, I think Portal is crap. It's a poor attempt at crafting a soap opera out of game footage. The network should scrap it and make a sitcom about a bunch of people who work together on a dev team.

They really shouldn't even call it G4Techtv, they should just call it G4 because that's all it is. They cancelled all my favorite Techtv shows and kept the shows I hate.
