Horizons - is anyone playing this?

I started playing this game just for something to kill time every now and then, but I realize that there's really nothing to work towards in this game... Anybody else had any luck with this game?

I too have gone back to EQ. Back to playing 8-10 hours a day. Man I love that game

Tried Horizons in Beta. Thought it was fairly dull. Oddly enough, I've recently restarted EQ after an almost two year absence. My how things have changed.

While I agree that Horizons is crap, I really have to question the reasons that you guys are going back to EQ. I never found the varying forms of the leveling treadmill to be very entertaining at all. Once you level to 65, you kill more of the same mobs until you get Luclin AA, then kill more and more of the same mobs for PoP AA, more, more, and more of the same mobs for Discord AA.

I don't understand what the draw is.

Right now, I'm playing DAOC which at least has some RvR to spice things up a bit. When I'm tired of doing ToA raids and leveling up to 50, I can run out and help capture a keep from other realms. Tired of leveling on PvE mobs? You can do delivery or kill tasks, or quests, which give you money, experience, and sometimes pretty nice items. DAOC has its own issues, but I think it is much more entertaining than leveling at the same spot in PoTactics 12 hours a day, for months.
