Well it seems natural that today's systems would have more bugs than older systems. It's just a matter of complexity. The fact that systems today can do exponentially more than older ones could means that they are going to have more bugs. But I'd rather deal with a bug or two and get better gaming, than be satisfied with a bug free 2-d scroll game.

I agree with you but they still rock though, Sonic 2+3+S&K are untouchable.

I disagree, Castlevania Symphony of the Night kicks the shit out of all the new 3D Castlevanias. Old School Platformers are so fun.

2d and 3d games are, to me, vastly different except for the occasional one that plays like Devil May Cry.

i need more of both.

I don't understand any console hating at all. 99% of the time it has nothing to do with the console itself, but how the developers use what they're given. I can see licensee hating, but not console hating.

I also have all three consoles, and love them all equally. I seem to enjoy more Gamecube games than the other consoles, but I wouldn't give any of my systems away.

And now, to try and not threadjack... :) I agree with dover, ben. There's no way any of the consoles are bulletproof if shot head on. Chances are it was shot at an angle and the bullet just deflected, rattling something loose in the process.

That being said there are benefits to every console out there. My personal favorite is the Xbox, followed CLOSELY by the PS2. I don't have enough Cube experience to really rank it.
One point to make, I have a tough time keeping up with the new releases on Xbox as they have been plentiful lately. MS is finally getting up to speed and releasing LOADS of Live compatible games. I actually have about 8 games at home I have gotten in the last month, and haven't had time to focus on just one.

I know what that's like, just the other day I was reading a review for Uru and thought to myself "Damn, I should get this game... oh wait, I got it last week!".

You are brave. It might deflect a 9mm glancing blow, but you wanna take your chances with a .357? Not me brother. If the .357 can go through an engine block, ain't NO WAY an Xbox is gonna deflect that.

I dont understand why people dont like a system just because of the company who makes it. I could care less which system I play as long as it has the games I like to play.

I dropped my PS1 (the mobile version) off of a car roof going at a good click (yeah yeah, I forgot that I put it on the roof of the car and it took a dive).. no damage, but I dont think it could take a bullet. They may have known that and thats why they made it such a small profile. The xbox might be able to take the bullet.. The PS1 can dodge it
