is anyone else a little dissapointed with Castlevania Lament of Innocence?

its pretty fun but its also kinda boring... the level design is horrible in my opinion, its the same thing over and over.
the graphics are awesome though and the sound is great too, also the gameplay is fun, but... the game design falls short im my opinion. i dont like the whole portal room idea where you have 5 different areas you warp to.

maybe they will use this game as a springboard to expand on for an epic sequel or something.

i think im gonna go play symphony of the night :(

IMO they should make another 2D Castlevania for a major console not like the GBA. It would be so sweet. Symphony of the Night is still one of my all time favorite games.

2d Castlevania >> 3d Castlevania

I've always liked the Castlevania series, ever since the NES versions, but the 3d ones just don't have the magic of the others in my opinion.
