so, I bought a wheel and have some questions
Interact V3 Racing Wheel, to be precise. Now, first off, I KNOW that this is not a state of the art wheel. But Ive wanted a wheel for some time now and this one was priced under $20. So I said what the hell and bought it.
the questions: this wheel did not come with drivers. after connecting and booting up, you install it via the gaming options in the ctrl panel (in win98). uses MS' standard drivers for 2 axis, 4 button joystick. so, the question I have is this: in most racing/driving games (other than GTA3, which I have and already have determined this wheel isnt a good fit for) will a 2 axis/4 button wheel-stick work correctly? what would be a good game to try it with? thanks |
I had one for PS/PS2 I honestly found it a little difficult, kinda fun though. Good luck

I'm particularly fond of the Need For Speed Series. Hot Pursuit 2 is very fun. Wheels are great for that extra touch of realism, but they can greatly detract from your times. The short throw of a joystick or gamepad will generally make for far better times.

I have the same wheel, and it has worked fine for me in every game I've tried. Just don't try FPS' with it, that bugged the hell out of me.
