I agree that Silent Hill would be one of my highest choices. Metroid would be cool, but I don't think it would make a great movie.. Think of how you play the game, then imagine sitting in front of a screen for an hour and a half watching some chick in a power suit trying to collect all of the powerups and running from one end of a tunnel to another :)

Alpha Centauri would make a good tv series i think, but as far as a movie...and to be a great movie, they would have to do something like Warcraft. Something on an epic battle scale like Return of the King had. Res evil was good and Tomb Raider...but not mind blowing. Games turned into movies have been lacking that "holy shit" vibe to them.

i think that any stealth based game would do great. I would personally like to see Tenchu but Splinter Cell or any Tom Clancy game should rock too.

If Metal Gear Solid is made into a movie, I want James Cameron to direct, but I second Hugh Jackman as Solid Snake. Now, if only we could pull off Christian Bale as Liquid Snake. Of course, like Resident Evil, Metal Gear's plot would probably have little to do with the game (which can be a very good thing, if done right).

I know they're making Advent Children, but that's a sequel to the game. I'd like an actual movie about the game...but they'd probably fuck it up anyway, so...
