Pretty exciting, this year should be interesting for gaming with Doom 3, Half Life 2, Deus Ex 2, and (hopefully finally) Duke Nukem Forever.
Anyone else excited to find out the details of the new Half Life?

Yup. If all those games come out this year, well, I'm gonna hafta put school on the backburner ;)

almost 5 years ago Half-Life took so much of my life away... and its gonna be a repeat all over again.

Screenshots from mags have been poping up all over, can't wait to get my hands on some of that stuff. Half-life was my first online game, i learned so much about video cards, modems, and computers in general. If it wasnt for Half-Life, i wouldnt have had such a great opportunity to learn about PCs.

I just got my PCgamer today. Man, that Half-Life 2 stuff just came out of nowhere and it looks sweet. I really hope it doesn't go the way of Duke Nukem Forever.

Wow, Valve's been pretty quiet these days so this comes as quite a shock. Nice to be pleasantly surprised once in a while. If this game has some sort of 2-player co-op for multiplayer I'll be the happiest person...ever

So I guess we can look forward to "Counter-Strike 2: Electric Boogaloo" as a result.

Looks like i'm finnally have to upgrade the video card. I doubt a geforce 2 will be able to handle half-life this time around.

I think my P166 with 48MB RAM and the 2MB Stealth video card REALLY ain't gonna cut it.
