Steam is currently running a big Holiday sale through Jan 3rd.
I just picked up 6 games for under $35....

Torchlight...$9.99
Chronicles of Riddick:Assault on Dark Athena..$6.79
Indigo Prophecy...$3.79
Mirror's Edge...$4.99
GTA IV...$7.49
Sniper Elite...$1.99

Most of the 'Big' deals are on older games but it's a good opprotunity to catch up on some titles you may have missed or passed on before.
