Stargate Worlds

Stargate Worlds is an Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), based on the Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis TV series, with playable areas based on historical & fictional human time periods, alien environments, and outer space locations.

The Game is being developed by Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment.

Stargate Worlds is an MMORPG currently under development by Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment in association with the film and television media company MGM. The game is designed to allow players to interact in an online universe, based in the Stargate universe. It is being published by the newly formed company FireSky.[1]

One notable feature of the game recently released is that it will be completely canonical, adhering and contributing to the back story of Stargate SG-1. SGW is expected to be released in 2009. On January 4, 2008, a TV ad and trailer for Stargate Worlds was released.




Welp I'm gonna give this one a try.. it looks like a split on a new direction.. from games like wow. Its all about range combat.. well a FPS combined with new stuff.

for instance be a scientist like McKay, open those pesky doors in a side mini game. Or blast it open if you are Jafa heh

Beta's are already underway, looks like a spring/summer 2009 release.

I couldn't get logged into the account so I guess it expired. They were sending me tons of emails when tests were coming up. The last one was dated Sept. 17th. Actually, I think I logged in and deleted my account because they were filling up my email with updates.
