The Castle...
 

Hello Australians,

I wanted to get your collective thoughts on a movie that I have quite a love on for, which is called The Castle. How many of you have see it? Do you like it? Is it popular in Australia?

Some of my favourite scenes/lines include "How's dad? Good. Hows Mum? Good. How are the dogs? Good. How are you doing? Good." and all the scenes with Bonny Dune and "Jousting Sticks...$250? Tell 'im he's dreaming" and "Sponge Cake!"

So if you like it tell me your thoughts...

I'm a yank (living in Oz).. but I love The Castle.

I tried to hire it out in the States one time, but they re-dubbed a lot of the lines so the Americans could understand the humour. Types of cars, the food, etc.

"Tell him he's dreaming" and "The vibe" get said at least a couple of times a week at work..

D'ya know anything about lead?

I'm studying Town Planning in uni at the moment, and I reckon they should devote a class just to this movie.

I did some vacation employment with the government back home in summer and they gave me this movie as a farewell present :D

they devoted like 2-3 classes to it in legal studies in year 11.
