I hate to interject on a regional thread here that I'm way far away from, but you guys started talking footy, so I couldn't resist. All Blacks set pieces and lineouts are so much better, not to mention they still have their dangerous backline speed; but seeing as how both sides beat the poop out of a none too flash Pommie side, it should be a good matchup either way.

as for the Rugby... yeah, NZ offensive domination from start to finish. but you've got to admit, given that domination, and the score only getting to 16-7... that was some decent defense. (we just made the mistake of not shutting down Justin Marshall, and letting Howlett and Muliaina gang up on Wendel)

yeah, big Dell is good, but only because he's a big boy who can run pretty quick... and thats more than enough against any team but the ABs... i mean, Rokocoko is just as big, and ten times quicker and twenty times more agile.
Howlett and Muliaina might not be as big as Dell, but they can run rings around him. but thats just personal opinion. maybe he just needs more game time to find his form again.
but when they brought in Dell last night, it became pretty obvious where the defensive hole in the Wallabies was...

The ref was shithouse, but I don't believe the scoreline would've differed if he was calling more aussie frees. The ABs were all over us, their kicking game alone is ridiculously more superior to ours.

Defense was near perfect, but against the Kiwis, it has to be 100% or you're fucked. We should cut Mortlocks right foot off so he never kicks another ball again...
