rsl12's 30 sec mystery #11

When john got up, he rolled up the windowshade, brushed his teeth, groomed, put on his clothes, jumped into the shower, took off his clothes, brushed his teeth, and went to bed. His day was through.

What does john do for a living?

rsl12 03-03-2004 01:35 PM

hint: it's a legal profession.

digby 03-03-2004 02:20 PM

Do you mean legal as in pertaining to law or as in not illegal?

rsl12 03-03-2004 02:48 PM

oh, i meant as in not illegal.

TheBrit 03-03-2004 03:00 PM

Does he fix showers for a living, ie a plumber?

bparker805 03-03-2004 04:56 PM

Sounds to me like John is a slacker 'cause he aint doin' shit!

maynard0012 03-03-2004 05:52 PM

he's a groomer, like the guys who style celebrity's hair.

cait987 03-03-2004 08:56 PM

Hes a weatherman IE: he goes into the "Showers" or rain for news reports then that finishes his day and he goes to bed?

hehe crazy guess I guess ;/

kulrblind 03-04-2004 06:36 AM

John tests rain-gear for a living!

Kadath 03-04-2004 08:21 AM

Is male stripper a legal profession? A bridal shower?

kazoo 03-04-2004 09:16 AM

John is a remodeling contractor specializing in tub & showers.

John is also living on borrowed time as the only possible intake of nourishment mentioned is toothpaste. :hmm:

fhqwhgads 03-04-2004 03:32 PM

John is an actor, and he was performing? Filming a commercial perhaps...

VF19 03-04-2004 06:35 PM

Maybe John here lives in Seattle and has to jump in the showers in order to not get wet on the way to the car.

ChickenNinja 03-05-2004 02:45 PM

While it's possible he runs a lighthouse (it's the most likely thing I can think of) he doesn't close the windowshade (in the description)

I dunno about the etiquette as far as posting two answers but:

It's possible he's an actor on a reality TV show. A boring one, but yeah.

JohnnyRoyale 03-05-2004 06:42 PM

Here's a thought: John is a proprieter of a mortuary. He was preparing a body, before going to bed?

mastboyx 03-06-2004 10:54 AM

he is a night guard right? one of those guys who work at night...

cait987 03-17-2004 04:23 PM

Bump, just curious we ever gonna get a answer for this one? I wanna know what the answer was ;/

rsl12 03-17-2004 06:48 PM

won't answer until someone gets it :)

ChickenNinja 03-19-2004 05:13 PM

You could give another hint . . .

John is a professional racehorse. His owner brushes his teeth to make him look good when on show, his "clothes" are his showjumping jockey stuff, "jumping into the shower" involves jumping over fences/hedges etc into the water pits, causing a 'shower of water'.

I'm not too sure about the "rolled up the windowshade" but this could refer to the horse box or the top half of the stable door somehow. I'm not into horse racing so don't know too many details of exactly the patterns but it's worth a shot, and this thread has been around for a long time!

Am I even warm?

Grimlok 04-05-2004 02:09 PM

30 Second Mysterys suck!

He's obviously a Photographer.

cowudders14 04-07-2004 01:37 PM

Ok, one clue please:
Is John Human? I think not, but I'm not sure what he is...

This would at least help!

fhqwhgads 04-08-2004 09:02 AM

He's a male stripper. He "jumps into the shower" (like a bachelorette party) and takes of his clothes.

Who else would enter the shower first and then take off their clothes??

That sounds somewhat similar to my suggestion:
