Our psychic ghost knows his math. Mal probably knows exactly how this works, but I'm guessing it's something to do with really scary number stuff. :)

You sure your math was correct? :D

The answer is always adds up to the number 9 - when you are asked to find your number... every other number that adds up to 9 has the same symbol...

ie
56 is the two digit number i pick
5 + 6 = 11 (adding the two numbers from the original number)
56 - 11 = 45 (subtracting from the original number)
(4 + 5 = 9)

The symbols for each number change everytime you play the game...

Mal's got it. It works with any number of digits, too.

5123242413 - (5+1+2+3+2+4+2+4+1+3) = 5123242413 - 27 = 5123242386

= 9 * 569249154
