Do you refridgerate box wine?
Should I put box wine in the fridge?
I wouldnt put a bottle in the fridge, but it wouldnt last as long as a box, what do you guys think? |
once a bottle has been opened, I would refrigerate it because the air has gotten to it.. and well - i just would - i don't have a good reason why....
box wine, is hermetically sealed inside that plastic bag -- so the air doesn't hit it... so it shoudl be fine... |

The restaurant I used to work just kept their boxed wine in the cupboard. I think it was a merlot, or some other red wine, but am not positive.

The beauty of boxed wine--and why we are seeing more and more premium boxed wine--is that it lasts forever and doesn't require refrigeration or special care :)

white box wine(semi sweet and dry white) like all other bottled white wine, should be kept cold or chilled rather because that is how you drink it, or rather how you are suppose to drink it.
red box wine on the other hand like all other bottled red wine, should be kept at room temperature because that is how it should be drunk. or you could just be like most of the people i've seen and just have wine with ice...really really icky. |

Vac pumps I wouldn't refrigerate red either but if possible I would try to keep it out of a warm kitchen, possibly keep it in a cool basement. |
