However, after viewing 1-19, it seems that it's best to watch 1-18 first.

wellllllll.........I haven't watched any of Firefly yet. And while it's a Joss show, it's not really in the same "world" as Buffy & Angel ( I didn't mean that as a pun, but I guess it sort of came out that way... ) I would say no, but hey, whatever the masses say, I'm cool with.
