This isnt an answer but I didnt know where else to put it. I just saw my favourite Angel episode ever last night. It is the one where he got turned into a muppet. I was crying I was laughing so much. I think it would be one of those episodes that would spin you out something savage if you were stoned. Noww the only Buffy/Angel episode I like better than that one is the Buffy Musical. I watched all of Buffy, but only watched the first couple of episodes of Angel (I only really had time for one show). Could someone give me a one-paragraph-or-less answer to this question: how (and if they answered it, why) did Spike come back to 'life' in this season of Angel?

When Spike died at the end of Buffy, his "life force" or whatever you want to call it was sucked into the amulet. In the first Angel this season, Angel was sent a package that had the amulet in it. As soon as he opened it, Spike reappeard. For him, it was as if no time had passed. At first he was non-corporeal but that was fixed later in the season when another package is sent to W&H addressed to Spike. They open it, and Spike is corporeal again. Even later in the season, we learned that Lindsey had sent the amulet to Angel and the package to Spike.
