Borat Trailer
 

Has anyone else seen the trailer for Borat? It's definitely one of the funniest trailers I've seen lately.

If you're not familiar with Borat, he's one of Sacha Baron Cohen's alter egos (his most famous being Ali G). Borat is basically a ridiculously naive Kazakhstani reporter. Sounds pretty stupid, but you should check it out and judge for yourself.

aha! that was cool. i'm gonna have to download a few shows to see how that is before the movie hits theatres.

I called the sister joke but laughed at the "nice" comment. Looks a lot like Cohen's other work which is funny in a "you're an asshole" kind of way. I'll see it at one point, maybe not in theatres.

Check out the latest trailer for the Borat movie. They played it before Talladega Nights, and I laughed even more than I did after seeing the first trailer.

aha! ya. i just saw the extended trailer when i saw Miami Vice. i hope the movie is as funny as the preview.

I really like his work, but I think a whole movie might get annoying.

I know that if I was any of the people he interviews, I would probably punch him.

The second trailer was even funnier.

I also like his stuff, and I actually laugh and get embarrassed when watching it. It's crazy.

Not sure if I could watch a whole film of it though.

He's a funny guy. The original Ali G sketches were hilarious...

The 1st trailer was filmed in Romania. Some parts of that country are still in the 19th century...

Indeed, some were very irritated! The Kazakh government actually threatened legal action against Sacha Baron Cohen because of Borat.

I'm looking forward to the Borat movie. The character is very funny, I always liked him better than Ali G, and I hope he can translate well to the silver screen. I saw the trailer before <i>Snakes on a Plane</i> and from what I can tell the movie looks funny, but as you know the trailer can sometimes be deceiving. The whole mess with the Kazakh government I can understand, though in the end we are just talking about a movie- But I digress, Kazakhstani vodka isn't bad.
