Wouldn't the ghostly twins best be played by Kanga and Roo?

I'm not sure who your agent of formspringing is, but throughout today, in just a four-hour span on the net, I saw three separate internet publications (though one might have piggybacked on the other) singing the praises of your supreme Meatiness, and his creative collage on Pooh & Co.

Charlatan 03-23-2010 08:27 PM

GH... I love your mad brain and would love to have you over for tea and a spin on our tire swing.

Giant Hamburger 03-24-2010 06:39 AM

I would accept that invitation.

sapiens 03-24-2010 01:03 PM

Warren Ellis (a relatively well-known comic book writer) posted about your comic on his website.

Daniel_ 03-24-2010 02:58 PM

OK - the internet is full.

Stumbled Upon just showed me AvP. :D

Charlatan 03-24-2010 05:55 PM

Shit GH... you've just gone viral.

CinnamonGirl 03-24-2010 08:05 PM

I've seen a few celebrities on twitter link to the site as well... I was all like, "dude, I KNOW those drawings!"

Glory's Sun 03-25-2010 05:32 AM

yeah, this is all over the net now.

HE'S FAMOUS!!

Baraka_Guru 03-25-2010 05:37 AM

Yeah! Nice work, GH. The more people who see your work, the better the planet will be.

Are you going to assemble something for The Poohing as well?

Ahoy!

I'd like to but I have my doubts about it.
Is it worth putting out there?

I have a real problem judging how these things will be received.
I have one more little strip idea from the Shining but haven't really felt the inspiration to complete it.
This viral attention is fun but it wont last much longer and could turn ugly in the end.

FluffySucks 03-25-2010 08:59 AM

Hey Giant Hamburger, FANTASTIC job with Alien VS Pooh. Your ending makes me anxious for the sequel "Alien VS Predator VS Pooh". hehe

As for The Poohing, I think you should keep working on that one. Love the "taste" so far. I think you need a frame with Pooh standing in front of the elevators pouring blood saying in his "ever so calm"/"can never be phased" voice.... OH BOTHA!

Are you on twitter? LMK Love to follow you PEACE Fluffy

Giant Hamburger 03-25-2010 09:22 AM

I actually have a "honey pouring out of the elevators" vision in the works.

Thanks for the input.

I tweet rarely and usually about clowns and/or how hungry I am.

snowy 03-25-2010 09:27 AM

Hail, GH! I noticed that I have yet to tell you how much I enjoy Pooh vs. Alien. I keep coming back to read it and have shared your wonderful work with others. May your meatiness continue to reign supreme.

emmdubbs 03-25-2010 09:44 AM

starting to spread on facebook btw. great gob GH

Giant Hamburger 03-25-2010 09:45 AM

1,000 thanks Snowy & Emmdubbs.

It's nice to get feed back.
I welcome all criticism too.
I can take it!

FluffySucks 03-25-2010 09:52 AM

Touche! You've done me one better LOL Look forward to future installments & I found you on twitter. I will be tweeting & facebooking Alien VS Pooh! Keep it up & I don't mean that in the dirty way OR maybe I do ;) PEACE

emmdubbs 03-25-2010 10:39 AM

it's hit kotaku, i'm sure digg is next
Alien Vs. Pooh: A Bedtime Story For the Little Gamer In Your Life - Alien Versus Predator - Kotaku

Troublebot 03-25-2010 11:51 AM

Know what I love?

That Kotaku brought me to my old friend GH.

And that GH led me to all my old friends here!

You are one amazing dude, just full of special sauce. May we all say we knew you when?

Giant Hamburger 03-25-2010 12:09 PM

What Ho Troublebot!

My heart sings to see you back at this place even but for a moment.

People now want to by the original art to AvP.
Does anyone have any advice on how to price such a thing?

Any and all advice is welcome!

xepherys 03-25-2010 12:30 PM

So I came across AvP on Facebook today, and lo and behold, the creator is GH. I was like... GH... I'd know his deliciousness anywhere. So, after a great length of time away from TFP, Giant Hamburger and his fine storytelling has brought me back into the fold by proxy of social networking. :)

Reese 03-25-2010 01:05 PM

This is great GH. I saw it on Kotaku today and thought I'd finally post in here and say how much I enjoyed this thread.

Giant Hamburger 03-25-2010 02:47 PM

Huzzah!

Thank you for the comments.
I am like Tinkerbell in this forum.
The more you believe in me the more powerful I get.
Soon I will chop it all down with the edge of my hand!
Well, that's would Tinkerbell would do.

Jetée 03-25-2010 02:57 PM

funny you should mention that exact scenario in your last line, Overlord GHBurger:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2297/...ab1d5e1c19.jpg
I think I know who taught her those moves.

and another to note: I have not or still won't seek (sought?) learn the intricacies to Twitter, but for a full solid month of however long it was, I did manage to find both your universal web home, as well as your creepy adoration of clowns, in their splendid color and beady eyes and all.

Charlatan 03-25-2010 05:24 PM

Hail GH!

Please take the time to further explore The Poohing! I think, if pressed, I would say that I enjoy The Poohing more than Alien v Pooh.

By the way... AvPooh made it to Boing Boing as well.

Giant Hamburger 03-25-2010 06:39 PM

I too like The Poohing a little better.
I plan to do more.

I saw the BoingBoing comments and those guys are a tough audience.
My kung fu did not impress them that much.

Does anyone know anything about thrillist.com?
They want to interview me!

I am still in negotiations for selling some of the pieces.
I am being pressed for prices.
Any suggestions?

little_tippler 03-26-2010 02:34 AM

wow, that is amazing. Congratulations GH.

What size are the drawings originally and how long did you take to make each one?

I would say if they are small they should fetch about 100 each at least.

That would be about $120.

If you have more people fighting over it you can probably go up in price.

Good luck!

Charlatan 03-26-2010 02:52 AM

I don't know about pricing but you might also consider making prints and selling those instead of the originals (i.e. volume sales over individual sales). How wouldn't want a greeting card with Tigger in a hydrolic exoskeleton?

It would then raise questions about copyright and all that...

Pay no attention to the techno hipsters commenting on this at Boing Boing... like any criticism on the Internet, it must be taken with a large grain of salt.

Glory's Sun 03-26-2010 06:31 AM

Yes, sell prints at $10-$20 per piece or $50-$75 for complete. Reasonable price and more people can afford it and make you some cash for your awesomesauce mind.
