Sex Question
Ok, I have a question for all you ladies. I never get very wet "down there" at all. I still get turned on, orgasm, etc. It's really quite annoying to always have to use lube or something. Does anyone else have this problem or have any idea what's causing this or what I can do? It's not a new problem. Ever since I started doing sexual stuff I've always had the problem. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I'm kind of the same way. When i first got a vibrator I got super wet whenever I used that, but it's like my body got used to it and now I don't gt very wet at all, but I still orgasm. I'm not really sure what the deal is. My guess would be that it's all mental, but I'm really not sure.

I know that certain medications (like sinus meds or cold meds) can dry you out down there...but it also could be something that is just distinctly you. I don't tend to produce much natural lubricant either, even when I'm very turned on, and while it can be a pain sometimes, I don't worry about it much. Getting lubed up can be fun if you do it right!

birth control pills, alcohol consumption-they dry you out as well.

When I first started having sex I had a problem getting wet...and had that problem with the next couple of partners, but with my current partner it's no problem at all. I think a variety of factors contribute, and for each woman it's different. For me it's a sexual attraction, mental engagement thing--if I'm really into the person I've got no problem getting really, really wet. But if it's not 100%, I'm not going to get as wet as I possibly can. Just a fact of life.

Ugh. I have a wetness problem, too. I'm too wet! And I get wet really easily.
Do you always make sure you get plenty of foreplay? |
Im not sure if there is an actual medical condition for this. I guess if it doesnt bother you just use the lubes.
|
Yeah, there's always enough foreplay, I just don't get wet. Using lube doesn't really bother me, but I would much prefer to use it alot less or not at all. Do you girls think maybe my gyno might be able to help me figure out if it's me or anything, or would it not be worth putting myself through a gyno visit I don't need?
|
It may just be you, or it could be a sign of a problem. After searching through webmd, I figure you are better off going to your gyno, getting a check-up and addressing your concerns with her (or him).

Storm Berlin: I am starting to notice that with the vibrator thing...is it variable to how much you use it, or a permanant thing?
|
I've found that using a little lube every time just adds to the experience (whether or not it's needed). :)
I've nothing more to add to the check your diet, make sure you're getting plenty of water, and to be on the safe side, talk to your gyno advice. But, at least go and have your mind put at ease. Storm Berlin:I've noticed the lack of lubrication when using the vibe, too. Could it be that we just don't take the same amount of time for foreplay, which would normally get us wet, because we don't think it's necessary? |
