captured memories of a motion picture photographer
I moved from being a cinematographer etc, into being a Motion Picture Stills Photographer into Portrait Photography it became my abiding passion. Significantly, the advance that has made widespread viewing of my images possible has occurred close to my retirement and I can now enjoy my photography without regard to chalk marks outlines etc.
Our perception of reality is merely the sum of our experiences. Every day we gain new impressions that nest themselves in our brain. However, our memory is not a film that can be played at will; we arrange, rearrange, preserve, forget and add at random. Our head contains a wild collection of memories - real, fictional or adapted - that are welded together into a new story. I hope to brings together the stories of One Old Man's time behind a film camera, an show you some of my personal still photos taken over 40 years in the film industry. |
