Do Not Call Registry
Cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies within a few weeks and you will start to receive unsolicited sales calls on your cell phone. The process below will minimize the number of unsolicited calls that you receive to your cell phone.
To minimize unsolicited sales calls, you may call the "Do Not Call Registry" from your cell phone at 888-382-1222. The line is automated and the entire process will only take about one minute of your time. Your number will be added to the do not call list for 5 years. You may also register your number online at http://www.donotcall.gov.
You may also use this same process to register all of your personal phone numbers with the registry.
Business land lines generally are not listed and do not need to be added to the registry. |
