What the hell should I do?

I need some advice concerning a decision which could change my future...

I've during a period of time suspected that my girlfriend is cheating on me. Several signs, the cell calls and she hangs upp, someone is calling often and hanging up etc. She's out with the "girls" often and when I ask whom, it's always someone from work I don't have clue of whom it is. I try to check for her cab when she comes home, but she always walks the last part, and I hear a car driving away. Maybe it's not a cab? A couple of days ago I scooped up her cell, just to check the time, and she went crazy, screaming I shouldn't fucking touch her cell and that I was snooping. Anyway, I haven't confronted her yet. Deep down I don't think I want to know the truth, but yesterday evening I decided to check up on her. I decided to hide behind my car to get a glance over the whole street and get a view of which car she emerged from. It was while I was while I was squatting behind my car that I realized the whole back wheel house had rust. Should I leave the car at a workshop or should I buy the spare parts and fix it myself?

Thanks for any input!

I can't say for sure, but it sounds like she's cheating on you. I'd dump her and use the money you'd be spending on her anyway to fix your car. It's much cheaper to do the work yourself if you have the equipment and the knowledge than to have a mechanic do it for at least $50/hr. At least that's the going rate where I live.

The joke is that he sets up the story to sound like his girlfriend's infidelity will lead to a life-changing decision (how will he react? What will he do now that his life is turned upside down?) but it turns out that story is just to explain how he came to be looking under his car, and he notices rust and has to make an important decision about whether he should fix it himself or get a professional.

The first couple of replies really got me wondering if *anyone* was actually readying the story or just automaticly scanning it and just writing what they think someone might want to hear... :hmm:

Madd 11-10-2004 02:58 AM

That was gold turbofish, I had to read over the last line twice before I could believe it. Gold :)
