TFP Chat
Ok folks..
since we've had some issues with the video chat, we've reimplemented the TFP chatroom link that is in IRC. You can still use your IRC client to get into it, or you can just click the link on the navbar at the top. It's time to revive the chat room so go ahead and jump in.. there's only a few trout being thrown around. :) |

just a quick note.. if you enter the room and nobody is talking, we aren't ignoring you. Alot of times people are idle and not paying attention to the screen. So if you go in, just stay for a spell and it shouldn't take long before a convo is started.

Soooo...I'm in there now, and it's showing 14 people... but no chatting going on. Is it just really quiet, or am I not connecting properly? Grrrr.

Y'know... every time I go into chat, I see the same names, and they're never listed as "online" on the main page. Names stuck, perhaps?

Might be your firewall settings.
I haven't been able to log in since I got my "new" laptop two years ago. Not sure what settings I have messed up. Do you use IRC? You can access it there. Give me a few minutes, let me see if I can't hunt up another way for you to get in... |
Nah, I haven't dl'd irc on this computer. Was hoping I could just use Java.

Yeah I thought about Mibbit. Haven't tried it just yet. Maybe I'll give it a go tomorrow. I'm attempting to wind down for the evening.

It sounds like it might be the Mibbit web client... can you get your hands on a stand alone IRC client? Check the TFP Chat Guide thread

You know what's awesome? Since the chat has been doing so well, it's like the stick that seemed to be up this place's butt has gotten a little smaller. That's a good thing.
