I had a teacher who had four monitors. He taught architectural graphics, and he always had at least two of the monitors on Auto-CAD and the other two doing whatever. Guys with small dicks try to make up for it by adding monitors to their collection.

I'm hoping that is sarcasm PT. I got two massive 22.5 in LCDs and I couldn't live with out them. It makes running two OSes at the same time so much easier.

Everyone should experience the joy and awesomeness of two LCDs.

Ah yes, two at work and two at home, such freedom having multiple monitors gives you. I've never tried three but I can imagine it being somewhat gratifying if also somewhat gratuitous.

I do software development and usually have lots of windows open at one time. Browser, email, online documentation, console sessions to one or more computers, IDE, etc, so use plenty of screen space since I hate schemes where I can flip from one desktop to another.

So at work I have twin 1920x1080 LCD. Home I have two 1280x1024 LCD and one 1920x1080 driven from dual video cards. I'd get a 4th display but I don't have enough desk space to put it.

Kinda sorta. I was mostly talking about the teacher I mentioned, he was an arrogant prick. Damaged my love of architecture. Other than that, I never knew so many people (three so far) use multiple monitors. I use one screen, like I always have. Learn something new every day.

I would cold stab a bitch if it would get me a second monitor at work. Sadly, I have to make do with one for the moment.

It all depends on what you're doing.

I have a single 17" monitor at work. It's depressing.

Never liked two monitors, though.. two parts that can fail, that weird edge between the two screens, etc. I've settled for a single 26" (25.5, but don't tell) LCD. It's better than 2 22s as far as I'm concerned.
