So my friend sent me a youtube link this afternoon that had some ladies dancing where the original music had been dubbed over. It was quite hilarious, but then I found the video with the original music and it blew my mind how the same dance moves seemed quite scandalous in the redubbed video but simply artistic in the original.

So what I'd like is to have you view the video with the original music first...



and now watch the redubbed version and notice how the context of the music changes your perception of those same dance moves...

It just shows how influential a choreographer Bob Fosse was and is. Every contemporary pop music choreographer or dancer today studies his stuff.

Her backup dancers are constantly off, both by timing and position.
