Well, there's obviously an audience for it, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten past the pilot episode.
IMHO, Bravo is overdoing the advertising for Queer Eye, but it's their huge claim to an audience. I mean Fox bombards everyone and everything with endless stupid American Idol, Joe Millionaire, and Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire, but they do it because they have an audience and they can make money.
It's marketing at its finest!
