I agree that the previous card-face was better too, but that's probably just bias from playing the game with the previous incarnation for a good 7 years. I kind of miss CCG gaming, but then I don't. I'm glad I'm not shelling out $30 for a Parallax Wave any more to complete my Rebel deck. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but it's like crack, and I'd rather be off it then on it. Just makes me wonder what WoTC though was wrong with having brown artifacts, though...? Whenever I hear the word "artifact" I instantly think of the colour brown thanks to M:tG
