Dining Hall Horror Story
I just have to complain, this was such a craptacular experience for me.
I was down at the Dining Hall getting dinner, and I see the cute girl from my English class I've been eyeing for a while, so we make some small talk, and then I get my food and go to find a seat somewhere in the hall.
One of my friend's, who's already eating, sees me and calls me over to his table and invites me to sit down, and just as I start to sit down, the cute girl and her group of friends walk by me, and says "Matt, aren't you going to come sit with us in the back?"
Now, i love my friend, he's a great guy, but he immediately cuts in before i can say anything, and says "No, he's eating with US!"
All the while, my inner monlogue is just like "Yes...please...i want to...no...man...no....DAMMIT!!"
And that's the story of my ruined dinner. I couldn't ever gather my shocked wits in time to say anything...man...
I laugh at it now, but you know...a little part of me died that instant. jk.
Any else have Dining Hall horror/crappy friends ruining things stories?
