Would I be correct in assuming you also received a driver disk with the beast?

If so, and there is no obvious setup program then you may need to manually install the drivers from .inf files. I would assume that you first need to install a port, so add new hardware and then go through the bits until you can manually add the hardware, pick ports and then do the 'Have Disk' thing and point to some spots on the disk that have the .inf files.

Many network printer setup programs will allow you to specify the IP addy of the printer or will discover the printer itself. Hopefully you know what the IP address is if it doesn't come with a default address (look in the manual)
